WHY GROUP TRAINING CLASSES?
If one-on-one or partner personal training packages are just a little much for your budget right now, small group personal training classes provide an attractive alternative.
Accountability and Adherence: Just like with one-on-one and partner personal training, you have the added benefit of accountability from our small group class trainers. It’s easy to make excuses and not stay consistent with an exercise program on your own, but our trainers will recognize when you are gone and touch base with you if you are missing in action! The added benefit of small group personal training is you also have accountability to others in your group.
Motivation and Camaraderie: There’s just something to be said about working out with a group of people just like you. When everyone is working hard doing their best and having fun, there’s an abundance of positive energy. Bottom line is you’ll be more inspired and find yourself looking forward to the workouts instead of dreading them.
Support: You get built in support when you’re part of a small group training program. Support is an integral component for success in seeing results with any fitness or weight-loss program.
GROUP TRAINING/BOOT CAMP CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:
FOR ALL FITNESS LEVELS!
Experience gym-style weight training and Olympic weight lifting exercises in a supervised and supportive environment at Strength Fit. Each workout is focused on muscle development and strength improvement and will teach you how to properly lift weights using the appropriate lifting techniques in order to reach your fitness goals without injury!
Based on the workout focus for the day, class will first start with a warm-up and skills/technique practice of the lifts that will be utilized in the workout. All participants will then go through a 30-minute strength/muscle development workout using the appropriate weight levels for their fitness capabilities. This class is a great weight lifting workout that will improve your overall strength, help you develop a lean looking body, and burn fat along the way! This group training class is lead by a certified Personal Training Professional.
*SPECIAL NOTES: This boot camp class is not ideal for individuals that currently have a major shoulder or knee injury. You may find that weight training gloves and wrist wraps will be helpful for work during this boot camp class. We don’t recommend going out and purchasing anything until you have experienced the Strength Fit group training class a few times. Then, we can make the appropriate recommendations if you feel you would like to purchase these items.
TBC & TBC – X
FOR ALL FITNESS LEVELS!
TBC – X is a total-body conditioning, strength, and cross-training class. TBC – X uses strength training circuits and some short cross-training cardio intervals (also known as HIIT) to get the body in shape from head-to-toe! (Special low-impact modifications are offered for new participants and/or those dealing with injuries or recovering from a surgery.)
Why the ‘X?’ No class is ever the same which makes each workout exciting and new and you will use the fitness industry’s most results-driven training techniques to perform today’s top trending exercises and workouts! BE READY TO SWEAT! This class also uses a huge variety of different types of workout equipment, so you will walk away feeling like a fitness ATHLETE! This group training class is lead by a certified Personal Training Professional.
TBC is similar to our TBC-X training class, but a little more basic on all fronts. You will experience a great total-body conditioning workout with variety in workouts each time you come. This is a great starter class to get comfortable with the Edge Fitness Group Training Class environment!
BUTTS N’ GUTS
FOR ALL FITNESS LEVELS!
Whether you are a fitness enthusiast or just starting out, Butt~N~Guts is for you! Butts & Guts is an interval boot camp style workout consisting of exercises designed specifically to target, tone, and strengthen your mid-section, butt (glutes), and thighs. Combine a few fat-burning cardio intervals with multi-directional ab exercises and fat burning upper thigh moves….what do you get? A slimmer, stronger and more lean waistline and sexy thighs!
Each workout is unique, different, and promotes muscle confusion which gets results. Workouts will be tailored for all levels, but at the same time you will be challenged and encouraged to push beyond your comfort zone.
This group training class is lead by a certified Personal Training Professional.
FUN FRIDAY BOOT CAMP
FOR ALL FITNESS LEVELS!
We are bringing you new ‘Friday Night Spotlight’ group training/boot camp classes every Friday from 5:30pm-6:30pm. Each Friday of the month will be a fun and different class. From boot camp circuit to crossfit boot camp style to total-body workouts in a game-style format. Our trainer Paula Gayson make sure you leave our studio feeling strong, powerful, fit, happy, energetic, and sweating with style!
TRAINING FOR WARRIORS (TFW) GROUP TRAINING CLASS
FOR ALL FITNESS LEVELS
TFW STRENGTH includes use of a variety of workout tools combined with a progressive strategy to focus on building real world strength and lean muscle….all within an energizing team atmosphere you will enjoy.
TFW CONDITIONING includes a mixed bag of world class workout strategies that will challenge you to burn fat, build endurance, and have a lot of fun doing it while striving to bring out YOUR WARRIOR WITHIN!
PRIVATE PERSONAL TRAINING SESSION INFO
Private Personal Training Hour Sessions:
Sessions are approximately 50-55 minutes in length and includes an active warm-up, the customized workout, and the appropriate stretches needed to be done at the end of each type of workout session. Each session is custom-built to meet each clients fitness level and with the goal of achieving the clients specific health and fitness goals. Starting/ending measurements, printed workouts, and nutritional support are included. Whether you want are new to working out, want to lose weight and keep it off, build lean muscle, train for a race/competition, or just look and feel better in the clothes you’re in, your personal trainer will take the guesswork out of how to get there.
Private Personal Training Half-Sessions:
Sessions are approximately 25-30 minutes in length and includes a customized workout. Half-sessions are best suited for those who have been working out on their your own, are strapped for time, but still want to have someone lead them through structured workouts to motivate them and help them reach their health and fitness goals more efficiently. Each session is custom-built to meet each clients fitness level and with the goal of achieving the clients specific health and fitness goals. Starting/ending measurements are also included. Whether you want to lose weight and keep it off, build lean muscle, train for a race/competition or just look and feel better in the clothes you’re in, your personal trainer will take the guesswork out of how to get there.
